<p><span style="color: #003366;">This exhibit shows kids bookmaking steps using illustrations from the children&#8217;s book, &#8220;Shanleya&#8217;s Quest:<br />
A Botanical Adventure for Kids from Ages 9 to 99.&#8221; Especially suited for libraries or schools, the lively<br />
installation encourages career paths in publishing from writing to production, business and marketing.</span></p>
<h3><span style="color: #003366;"><span style="color: #800000;">THE PAGES COME ALIVE</span><span style="color: #800000;"><em><br />
</em></span></span></h3>
<p><span style="color: #003366;">Great for all ages and interests, this exhibit brings the</span><span style="color: #003366;"> ecology of the Northern Colorado Plateau to life with illustrations from &#8220;A Naturalist&#8217;s Guide to Canyon Country.&#8221; Included with the </span><span style="color: #003366;">interpretive art is text from the book, humorous vignettes of the research and illustration process, along with 3D displays which can include aquatic pothole life and a vivarium with a live tarantula! Developed in cooperation with Grand Canyon Association and the National Park Service, all interpretive panels, original watercolors or framed prints are available for shows.</span></p>

<p>The concept underlying &#8220;The Naturalist&#8217;s Guide to Canyon Country&#8221; illustrations was founded in the hypothesis that looking at<br />
artwork engenders learning which lasts. The show was developed to be used by a variety of presenters and locations,<br />
and is as effective for a botanical garden, as a state fair, museum, coffee house or somewhere in <em>your</em> <em>community?</em></p>
